Hawaii Winter Workshop with Master Alex Dong

Friday, February 18 to Wednesday, February 23, 2011

Come to Hawaii in February 2011, for a 6-day, residential Intensive Workshop led by Master Alex Dong. The event takes place at YWCA Camp Kokokahi overlooking beautiful Kaneohe Bay

25 hours of instruction will cover the Yang Style Slow Set, the Dong Family Fast form, the Hau style, Push Hands, and the Sword and Saber forms.

The full enrollment fee of $600 includes camp accommodations and all meals and snacks served onsite.

A format of two classes per day allows time to absorb the instruction and corrections with most evenings open for socializing and additional practice.

Local students are organizing optional activities, some of which will fit into the after-lunch break or for the evening, as well as longer outings suitable for those arriving early or staying a few days after the workshop.

Breakfasts will be hosted by local students (a commercial kitchen is onsite), but because lunches and dinners are catered, be sure to let us know any dietary restrictions so they can be incorporated into the menu planning.
